Leaders Right Hand Turn starts in an open position. During the move the leader makes 180 degree turn in front of the follower on the first 3 counts and basic forward and back steps on the last 3 counts. The leader makes only basic forward and back steps.

This turn is similar to Inside Turn however during this move the leader stops the follower and reverses the turn to the starting position. Inside Turn with Stops is usually completed by performing an Inside Turn.

Inside Turn starts in an open position. During the turn partners pass each other on the right while making 180 degree turns in the opposite directions. By the completion of the move the partners have swapped places and finished in the original position.

Cross body turn is one of the most advanced moves for a beginner, especially the follower. The leader’s footwork is exactly the same as for the Cross Body Lead with minor changes to the hand movements, however the follower’s footwork gets quite complicated.
